Just a thread becuase on occassion I'll have a dream that includes someone fun.
For instance, last night I had a dream about an older detective in the future that refused any kind of robotic assistance as it would make her vulnerable. (I guess she was under the impression the culprit was computer saavy.) And she was getting on some futuristic like train where people had individual car pods with just one bag and her cat named Double Oh Seven. The porter found the cat odd.
I woke up this morning with the first line of a story that dream me thought I've been working on for a while but I haven't, about a women that apparently works for the military and her job is to figure out what happened in a conflict with returning injured soldiers so the powers that be can respond appropriately and apparently one of the people that give the missions likes to strike first and ask questions later, but she (in my dream) realizes the injuries on one soldier returning from leave were not at the hands of an enemy but from someone trying to preform CPR on him, saving him. (It doesn't make sense but that's how dream characters work.) So the story starts with her feeling a bit smug because she has the facts to back up not sending out an attack force, which she enjoys shoving in the face of the trigger happy guy.
I think with some I'd like too. But I don't want to keep stopping other things or I'll never get anything done. (Which, uh, so far I haven't really.) So this is like a gathering place...? But feel free to share if you have any.
The last dream I really remember, I was going to take a shower, and I went into the bathroom, and there was a black cat with a white star of fur on its chest sitting on the toilet lid, and another cat - an orange tabby - sitting on the shelf where we kept the towels. This was my childhood home (or as close to a childhood home as I could get), and my mom doesn't own cats. She wants two dandie dinmonts (or however you spell it) named Rhett and Scarlet. So, yeah.
There's nothing an agnostic can't do if he doesn't know whether he believes in anything or not.
Had this dream last night. Me and Willow from Buffy (the character, not the actress) were having dinner with a bunch of people. I didn't really recognize any of them, but she and I were talking like old friends. Then we took our bacon and fed it to a dog, and two cats, one of which had only three legs. Shortly after, she told me that she started her period and went to the ladies room. When she came back she was happy and said that "Everything is blue!"
I actually had to write it down first thing this morning because I was like, "They aren't going to believe me."
Last night I had this dream that someone sent to Earth an object that was full of tiny microscopic black holes and when they were put together they'd form one big enough to destroy the solar system, like they'd feed each other, which I (but not as me) discovered just as all the stars in the sky started to either go dark or become weird streaks of light instead. Then it was only me, a random person I didn't know, Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders as their Jack Reacher characters left on Earth, trying to figure out what happened, and how to stop it, and we ended up freezing the object so the black holes couldn't merge and the rest is fuzzy. But for a short while I'm pretty sure Scully showed up.
